Lebashe Investment Group will be suing UDN leader Bantu Holomisa.
This comes after Holomisa accused Lebashe Investment Group of being in bed with the corporation's CEO Dan Matjila to benefit from funding deals.
We will be serving papers for an urgent interdict and a claim for defamation today. We feel confident that there is nothing dirty because all our transactions are at arm's length on a commercial basis.— Warren Wheatley, Lebashe Investment Group CIO
We look forward to meeting the general in court. You will notice he hasn't posted any evidence of any sort on any platform.— Warren Wheatley, Lebashe Investment Group CIO
On the other hand, Harith Fund Managers' Pule Molebeledi says they will consider any option available to them on how to handle the allegations.
We are really appalled by some of the allegations that Holomisa has been making. One of the things we would have expected him to have done is to at least ask and we would have answered him on some of his questions.— Pule Molebeledi, Harith Fund Managers
We will consider any option. It is nice to make allegations currently but what is the damage he is doing to our current investor matrix.— Pule Molebeledi, Harith Fund Managers
We will consider any option that is available on the table we are not afraid of that. The challenge is that Holomisa is really being irresponsible.— Pule Molebeledi, Harith Fund Managers
Meanwhile, the UDM leader Bantu Holomisa maintains that Zweli Mkhize is involved in the corruption at the PIC and he is ready to go to court.
I cannot stop them from suing me but we will not retract the statement that we have made.— Bantu Holomisa, UDM leader
If they want to go to court that would give us an opportunity to even ask for more information.— Pule Molebeledi, Harith Fund Managers
