[PICS & VIDEO] Heavy gun fire... Another cash in transit heist in Boksburg
One person has been killed and three others injured following a cash-in-transit heist on Thursday morning in Boksburg.
The incident took place on the corner of North and Atlas roads in the early hours of the morning.
Police spokesman, Vishnu Naidoo, told Eyewitness News that one suspect has been shot and killed and an AK47 rifle recovered.
He also added that a security guard was shot and wounded on his hand but he can confirm that no money was taken.
This is a second cash-in-transit robbery in Boksburg within a space of a couple of months.
