'We need SAA to have a route between Beijing and Johannesburg to boost tourism'

SA Tourism CEO Sisa Ntshona says for South Africa to boost Chinese tourists to South Africa, barriers need to be removed first.

South African Tourism embarked on a concerted drive to attract Chinese tourism in order to bring in investment and encourage economic and infrastructure development in the country.

China is the largest source of tourism. 145 million international trips were undertaken by the Chinese last year.
