Superstar singer to perform at the Global Citizen Festival Mandela 100 concert to celebrate the centenary year of Nelson Mandela.

It's official, Beyoncé, is coming to South Africa!

Make a date for your diaries on 2 December 2018 at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.

Joining the multi-award winning performer will be a host of global and local artists, including Jay Z, Ed Sheeran, Cassper Nyovest, D’Banj, Femi Kuti and Tiwa Savage.

CEO of Global Citizens, Hugh Evans, alongside supermodel Naomi Campbell and businessman Patrice Motsepe, on Monday, announced the lineup for the Global Citizen Festival to celebrate Nelson Mandela’s 100th centenary.

Speaking to John Maytham, Deputy Editor at Bona Magazine and 702 presenter, Gugs Mhlungu says Beyoncé has proven time and again that her live shows are not to be missed.

Firstly her music has been interesting in that she started out as the lead of one of the biggest pop groups in the world. And then she became a solo artist and started out as a pop artist. She has since then grown into really a fantastic artists and her shows are this huge experience.
