The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has asked that the corruption case against Duduzane Zuma be postponed to January.
Zuma appeared in the Commercial Crimes Court on Monday morning where he was granted bail of R100 000.
He has been charged with corruption in connection with the alleged failed attempt to bribe former deputy finance minister Mcebisi Jonas.
The state says it requires more time to investigate and there are more people who have yet to be charged.
It is due to the fact that the investigations in the matter are complex and there are more accused persons that must be charged together with Mr Zuma.— Phindi Louw-Mjonondwane, NPA Gauteng spokesperson
We would like to assure the public that we will do anything and everything possible as the state that those who are accused of wrongdoing are brought to book.— Phindi Louw-Mjonondwane, NPA Gauteng spokesperson
