[WATCH] White man in US loses job after calling police on black family at pool

Watch this video as a black woman calls out this white man for racially profiling her and her child at a local community pool when he insisted on asking her for ID. She says she and her baby were the only black people at the pool that day.

This all took place in North Carolina in the USA on the Fourth of July holiday.

Once the police arrived the woman, Jasmine Edwards, explained to them what had happened. On the video she asks 'Where does it say that I have to show an ID to use my pool? My own pool?'

She explained to the police that the man had first asked her for her address which she had provided.

She even had a keycard to access the pool.

But the man defended his actions and refused to apologise.

The New York Post reported that the Glenridge Homeowners Association said the man, Adam Bloom, resigned as the pool’s chairman and association board member.

The video of the interaction received a massive social media backlash and was watched millions of times after Edwards posted it on her Facebook page. The newspaper reported that Bloom has lost his job over the incident.
