Mkhari assault cases withdrawn - couple want to deal with matter 'privately'

Assault cases opened by MSG Afrika Group CEO Given Mkhari and his wife Ipeleng were provisionally withdrawn on Monday.

Both appeared in the Randburg Magistrates Court on assault charges.

It is understood the couple went to police after a fight at their Randburg home on Saturday.

Eyewitness News reporter Pelane Phakgadi says the the case involving the couple is now subject to an investigation.

Provisionally withdrawn simply means that should the NPA wish to pursue the case any further, the Mkhari's will have to present themselves to court.
