Christo Wiese has been implicated in what the South African Revenue Service (Sars) calls “an elaborate tax-dodging scheme”.

Sars now wants him and two ENS associates (who facilitated the Tullow oil deal) to pay back the money.

Christo Wiese was, until late last year when Steinhoff imploded, the second richest African.
