ANC's Zizi Kodwa apologises on behalf of the ANC for having one of their employees arrested for cash-in-transit heists.

Zizi Kodwa says the Africa National Congress must improve its vetting process when hiring people.

This comes after Luthuli House employee and ANC member Errol Velile Present was fired for being arrested in connection with a cash-in-transit heist.

I have no words to express my embarrassment, I have no words to express the embarrassment of the African National Congress; it's membership and it's leadership.

Meanwhile, the African National Congress KwaZulu-Natal elective conference will get under on Thursday.

Zizi Kodwa says a lot of work has been done to make sure the conference goes according to plan.

Kodwa says ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa will attend the conference on Saturday and deliver the closing remarks.

No branch of the ANC must be left out because of manipulation or gatekeeping.
