Meanwhile, the African National Congress KwaZulu-Natal elective conference will get under on Thursday.

Zizi Kodwa says a lot of work has been done to make sure the conference goes according to plan.

Kodwa says ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa will attend the conference on Saturday and deliver the closing remarks.

No branch of the ANC must be left out because of manipulation or gatekeeping.
