Controversial Qedani Mahlangu, Brian Hlongwa make it into GP ANC PEC
The African National Congress (ANC) in Gauteng held its elective conference over the weekend where David Makhura was elected Gauteng chairperson unopposed.
Eyewitness News reporter Clement Manyathela say the new PEC comprises of candidates from different slates.

Former MEC for Health in the province Qedani Mahlangu made into the provinces executive committee.
There was a lot of controversy around Qedani Mahlangu. Brian Hlongwa as well there were corruption charges that the SIU is already looking at. So those are some of the people who made it onto the list of this PEC and they got overwhelming support.Clement Manyathela, EWN reporter

Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi was elected as deputy chairperson, while Jacob Khawe was elected secretary, Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko his deputy and former Johannesburg Mayor Parks Tau as treasurer.
