Survivor finale comes to CPT for the first time ever!

For the first time ever, reality TV hit Survivor will hold it's grand finale in Cape Town.

The sixth season comes to an end on Thursday, 16 August 2018, and host Nico Panagio joined John Maytham on Tuesday afternoon.

People worldwide treat Survivor as an institution.

Panagio says this year's contestants (who include Cape Talk technical producer Jeanne Michel) are really in it to win it.

What you see is people who've come in switched on, they haven't come in to try and find their feet, they've come in hitting the ground, playing the game from day one.

The show is in its sixth season and was filmed during January and February this year in the Palawan province of the Philippines.
