  • Boeing delivered an industry record 763 commercial airplanes in the past financial year. It has produced more airplanes than any other manufacturer for five years in a row.

  • The company has an order backlog of 5864 airplanes (it’ll take seven years to catch up).

  • Boeing’s 737 MAX is the fastest-selling airplane in its history. It has 4300 orders from 92 customers.

  • It estimates the commercial airplane market will grow to around US$2.8 trillion over next 10 years.

  • Boeing expects an airplane market of 42 700 units over the next two decades.
