[LISTEN] BLSA speaks on BRICS and the agreements signed by China and SA

The 10th BRICS summit is officially underway in Sandton, Johannesburg.

President Cyril Ramaphosa opened the event on Wednesday calling for an increase in trade between the five nations.

Karima Brown spoke to Head of Strategy at Business Leadership South Africa, Sizwe Mbele to get his take on the summit and what may need to be achieved to attain economic growth in SA.

Speaking on a series of agreements signed between private sector businesses, state owned entities and China's industrial bank this week, Mbele says these should be transparent.
