Sex and obesity: A weighty conversation

According to the latest South African Demographic and Health Survey, almost 70% of local women are either overweight or clinically obese.

The country has the highest obesity rates for women in the whole of Africa.

The study also shows that The Western Cape is home to the fattest people.

Clinical sexologist Dr Eve says obesity isn't just a danger to our physical health, but our intimate relationships too.

The absolute difficulty, the absolute pleasure that we have in our bodies that may look different to the extreme of the continuum of what people would define as overweight.
