Thuma Mina campaign hits the ground running in Western Cape

Senior leaders from the African National Congress (ANC) are in the Western Cape for a series of door to door campaigns.

The initiative forms part of the Thuma Mina programme as the party prepares for next year's elections.

ANC deputy Secretary general Jessie Duarte is currently in De Doorns.

Eyewitness News reporter Babalo Ndenze is there.

They're embarking on initiatives to fix potholes, gravel roads, illegal dumping sites and other awareness campaigns to alleviate the living conditions of people on the ground.
