Tshwane Mayor Solly Msimanga is set to face a motion of no confidence in a Tshwane council sitting brought by the ANC and EFF.
Callers on The Eusebius McKaiser Show debate whether Msimanga deserves to be booted out of mayorship.
McKaiser opened up the show by playing a song dedicated to the Tshwane mayor:
A caller, Peter, says it is the end of the road for Msimanga and he doesn't think that he is going to go to buy a quarter chicken to drown his sorrows.
He won't afford to eat Nandos. He will only afford Chisa nyama.— Peter, caller
Hlathi says when one goes into a football pitch and your opponent beats you and does it fair and square.
You shake their hands and accept that you have lost.— Hlathi, caller
I take my hat off to Mmusi Maimaine. He has proven to be an astute politician by saying we will not field another candidate for the DA.— Hlathi, caller
He adds that you can't be held to ransom by these people who give the municipality to you and take it when they don't agree with your decisions.
