The African National Congress says it will be voting with the Economic Freedom Fighters to remove Tshwane Executive Mayor Solly Msimanga.
Msimanga is set to face a motion of no confidence in a Tshwane council sitting brought by the African National Congress (ANC) and the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF).
Speaking to Clement Manyathela on The Midday Report, ANC's head of elections Fikile Mbalula says the ANC has its own reasons why it wants Msimanga out.
We will work with the EFF in terms of getting rid of Solly Msimanga because we've got our reasons and they have their own reasons why he must actually go.— Fikile Mabalula, ANC Head of Elections
