South Africa is ready for business and China gives land reform a thumbs up

President Cyril Ramaphosa is visiting China for the China- Africa Cooperation Summit and so far his visit has been described as a positive move that could result in job creation in South Africa.

Chinese President Xi Jumping has given South Africa’s land reform policy the thumbs up.

Speaking to Bongani Bingwa, EWN reporter Clement Manyathela who is in China says Ramaphosa is on a charm offensive when he was hosted at the state house in the great hall by Xi Jumping.

That is where several memorandums of understanding were signed between the Chinese governments, companies and Ramaphosa's administration worth over $2 billion.

He adds that this was not the only reason why the trip has been a success and why Ramaphosa is in China.

He will also be co-chairing the forum on China-Africa Cooperation Summit which started this morning. This has been a multilateral platform for exchange and cooperation.
