[LISTEN] 'Tom Moyane solicited info about Sars before he became commissioner'

The Nugent Commission of Inquiry into tax administration and governance at the South African Revenue Services (Sars) has been hearing the shocking testimony of how the institution change when suspended Tom Moyane took the reigns.

Eusebius Mckaiser spoke to Journalist with Daily Maverick's investigative team, Scorpio, Pauli Van Wyk about the what has been coming out from the commission.

The picture that is emerging is actually frightening.

What we saw from Bain and Treasury is that Moyane started soliciting information about Sars when he wasn't the Sars commissioner.

He solicited views from Bain months before he and us ought to have known that he would be the Sars commissioner in September 2014.
