UPDATE: Three firefighters dead in Johannesburg building fire
A firefighter has fallen to his death while trying to extinguish a fire at the Gauteng Health Department in the Johannesburg CBD.
The fire started on the 23rd floor in the morning and emergency services are still trying to extinguish the blaze.
Speaking to Ray White on The Midday Report, Dr Sipho Senabe from the Gauteng Health Department says they don't know the cause of the fire as yet, the investigations will reveal that information.
There was a fire that broke out on the 23rd floor in one of the offices.

We evacuated the staff in that office and the other floors.

At the moment the fire is under control and it is not the entire building, just the 23rd floor. Three of our staff had smoke inhalation challenges and they have been sent to the hospital for treatment.
