The Norman Lear Centre at the University of Southern California has published its latest report on how Trump's (Sh!thole) remarks about Africa affected public sentiment.
The centre partnered with Cape Town-based BrandsEye to provide them with opinion data for the report.
A team of human verifiers evaluated over 45 000 public tweets between 4 – 23 January 2018.

Rey adds that almost all of the tweets following Trump's remarks show that Americans know very little about Africa.
