Members of law enforcement agencies due to appear in court

We have seen a period of instability amongst various law enforcement agencies seen to be fighting each other and not just the criminals.

EWN Barry Bateman says there has been instability within these units stretching from the Hawks across to the crime intelligence within the Saps.

Cases related to these actions are due to appear in court.

Shadrack Sibiya and Lesly Maluleke - also known as captain cowboy - they were alleged to have unlawfully arrested a Zimbabwean international and unlawfully handed him over to their counterparts in Zimbabwe which ultimately led to this individuals death.

Bateman says Johan Booysen with his team of detectives from the Cato Mano serious crimes unit, accused of being involved in the infamous Cato Mano death squad, is due to appear in the Gauteng High Court.

Both these stories stem from circa 2011 when we first started hearing about them and ultimately were used to get rid of in the case of rendition, Dramat as the national head of the Hawks and Shadrack Sibiya as the Gauteng head of the Hawks and we both know they were involved in the investigation of Richard Mdluli.
