[WATCH] SA prison warder appears drunk and can't even find his gun

A superior officer films this prison warder who staggers to his feet in a seemingly inebriated state.

The captain asks the warder to walk on one foot which the man clearly is incapable of doing. Upon seeing his empty firearm holster, the captain asks him where his firearm is...and he seems to have no idea.

The Department's Singabakho Nxumalo said: “We must be seen to be really taking firm action against this. We have a number of good officials in our department [and] we can never allow the conduct of this nature to taint our image in a manner that it is done.”

The Department is apparently investigating the matter.
