The African National Congress (ANC) in Parliament has tabled a debate in the National Assembly on the VBS Mutual Bank saga.
This is after the report labelled the Big Bank Heist by Advocate Terry Motau, appointed by the Reserve Bank to look into what went down at the VBS Mutual Bank.
ANC Chief Whip Jackson Mthembu says the report is worrying.
More worrying is how poor people's money has been looted in that bank. People who had trusted in the VBS Mutual Bank, who had invested in that bank, their pensions, their stokvel money, now that money is no more.— Jackson Mthembu, ANC Chief Whip
He says from an ANC perspective, they are saying all those that have looted that bank, including their members, should face the might of the law.
