Alan Winde responds to allegations of racism in the DA

Western Cape MEC for Economic Opportunities, Alan Winde has responded to allegations of racism within the DA made by former Cape Town Council Chief Whip, Shaun August.

August was one of five DA members who resigned in solidarity with embattled Cape Town Mayor Patricia de Lille on Thursday.

Their resignations came just hours ahead of the release a report by law firm Bowman Gilfillan into malfeasance at the council.
