High risk fire danger conditions forecast for Northern Cape and parts of Limpopo

The South African Weather Service has issued severe weather warnings over four provinces.

It warns of extreme high fire danger conditions in the Northern Cape as well as the northern and western interior of Limpopo province.

Severe thunderstorms are expected in places over the western KwaZulu-Natal and the eastern highveld areas of Mpumalanga.

The weather service has warned residents to take these weather alerts seriously.
