Afrobarometer survey: Half of SA would vote for ANC if elections were tomorrow

According to a survey by Afrobarometer, half of South Africans say if elections were held today, they would vote for the ANC.

Speaking to Clement Manyathela, Gugu Nonjinge from Afrobarometer says when they do the surveys, they don't follow up questions to determine why they selected the ANC.

As much as we ask if they would vote for these political parties in the running, we do not ask follow up questions in terms of what are the reasons.
