HHP's family say Lerato Sengadi can attend the funeral but not as his wife

The battle for who will bury hip-hop star HHP continues at the Johannesburg High Court.

The customary wife of the late HHP, Lerato Sengadi, has filed an urgent application to halt his funeral, saying his family has sidelined her in the preparations.

Robert Tsambo, the father of HHP has rejected Sengadi as his daughter-in-law.

Eyewitness News reporter Kgomotso Modise says the matter was postponed to 1 o'clock to allow for Sengadi's counsel to study the responding affidavit.

The family has responded insisting they will go on with the funeral tomorrow and they will not keep her from attending as widely reported.
