[LISTEN] Local delegation in U.K. to punt SA as tourist hotspot

The World Travel Market London, is currently underway.

The South African Department of Tourism and other industry members are in attendance, with the aim to position the country as a tourism destination.

Joanne Joseph spoke to Eyewitness News UK Correspondent Alex Eliseev for an update on the event.

South Africa is here, trying to market the country to the rest of the world...it all comes down to making deals, having conversations with people and trying to change perceptions where it needs to be changed.

There is a delegation of about 30 to 35 businesses here and they are having as many talks with people right around the industry.
