While President Cyril Ramaphosa was replying to questions in the National Assembly in Parliament on Tuesday, the House was turned into a boxing ring.
Scuffles and accusations of racism by the two biggest opposition parties, the Democratic Alliance and the EFF, were followed by a fistfight between lawmakers from the EFF and a smaller group, Agang.
This fight escalated from insults to a bottle being thrown and then pulling and tugging. Started with Agang MP Tlouamma saying whites should be allowed to speak in House. Hard to tell what happened next #RamaphosaQandA pic.twitter.com/1AJ8rXol7j— Annika Larsen (@AnnikaLarsen1) November 6, 2018
