According to Bongani Bingwa, the impact of the appointment of DA MP and former prosecutor Breytenbach by President Cyril Ramaphosa would be two-fold.

It would be a sign on the maturing of our democracy, it would be a sign on the independence of that office.

But also, I think, it would be a sign that he was saying he had nothing to do with state capture.
