Tech guru Aki Anastasiou gives tips on how online retailers can prepare for this year's Balck Friday to avoid their sites crashing.

The biggest shopping day of the year in South Africa, Black Friday is fast approaching.

But are South African retailers and online shops ready for November 23?

Last year most online shops experienced technical problems due to an increased traffic on their website which resulted in some sites crashing.

Tech guru Aki Anastasiou says online stores need to make sure that they make provision for extra capacity on their sites.

You need to know that traffic on your sites will increase in the next few days and it's going to hit you on Friday and again on Monday.
