[LISTEN] Up close and personal with Enhle Mbali Maphumulo

Businesswoman and actress Enhle Mbali Maphumula is reaching out to young girls through her Enhle Cares Foundation.

In partnership with House of Mandela, Africa Rising Foundation and their supporting partners, Global Citizen and The Nozala Trust, they will be hosting the inaugural Forever Young Ball and Gala dinner.

The dinner is also a fundraiser for beneficiary organisations dedicated to empowering the youth and championing social justice.

Azania Mosaka spoke to Maphumulo about the initiative.

Enhla Cares for me rules womanhood. I think it is important for women to feel economical, financially stable and mental health as well.

Maphumulo opened up about how she and her husband dealt about the infidelity scandal that happened around 2014.

I felt I had to speak on sisterhood that day because my sisters were hardest on me when this whole situation was happening. I found men more understanding.

I didn't speak now for me, it was for the girl that is coming after me. It was an education and an eye-opener. We are scared of pain and we have to speak about it.
