The three-day process for the search of the countries new National Director of Public Prosecution ends on Friday.
Advocate Simphiwe Mlotshwa told the panel how suspended deputy prosections boss Nomgcobo Jiba interfered in his high-profile corruption case and later removed him from his post to protect politicians.

Mlotshwa says he was called to a meeting at the NPA’s head offices, which was chaired by then acting prosecutions boss Jiba and Mrwebi where he was told he had to withdraw the Amigos' case.— Barry Bateman, EWN senior reporter
