Over 28 000 eager cyclists gear up for the 2018 Telkom 947 Cycle Challenge

The big day has finally arrived!

Over 28 000 enthusiastic cyclists have made their way to the 22nd edition of the Telkom 947 Cycle Challenge at Riversands Commercial Park.

The Telkom 947 Cycle Challenge is a day dedicated to shutting down the city in an effort to experience an exciting, well-supported and rewarding cycle stretch.

As the 'Think Bike' marshals get briefed, spectators have lined up by the grandstands, mounting themselves close to the road to cheer on their favourite riders.

The Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit is filled with eager cyclist as the A, B, and C start groups take to the reversed route.
