[LISTEN] Masterclass on astrology

Astrology, according to Dawn Carter from Soul Direction, is the study of the cycles of the moon and different planets, the sun and the interrelationships. It basically embraces the idea that there is a connection between the heavens and the earth, she says.

Carter sat down with Azania Mosaka to share more on the discipline, the different types of astrology and how it has evolved over the years.

You get different types of astrology, for instance horary astrology. That involves asking a question at an exact moment and then one would interpret and predict from that moment in time. Then you get a composite chart, which is what focuses on two people, romantic or business and how their personaliteis, whether they would be a god match...

Then you get mundane astrology. That is usually used to predict world events. Traditional astrology is basically astrologists that want to relearn the techniques that were practiced 200 years ago. You get medical astrology, financial astrology....
