Drop in solar costs could change the game for renewables, says guru

The cost of solar energy batteries is on the decline, says expert Dominic Willis.

Willis is the CEO at SOLA Future Energy and says the adoption of solar energy could soon be less expensive.

He says the affordability of solar power will dramatically reduce the reliance on power utility Eskom, especially for medium and large businesses.

This is thanks to advances in battery technology and a drop in the costs of power storage components.

We can quite clearly see where the picture is headed.
