A parliamentary report into Eskom has called for criminal prosecution of a number of people implicated in corruption.
The Public Enterprises Portfolio Committee has adopted its final report on the back of a lengthy inquiry into governance failures and state capture at the power utility.
The committee wants Zola Tsotsi, Ben Ngubane, Brian Molefe, Zethembe Khoza and Matshela Koko to be criminally investigated.
Speaking to Bongani Bingwa, Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee into State Capture, Zukiswa Rantho, says all the political parties working together is an example of how parliament should be functioning.
She adds that the committee also found former Public Enterprise Minister Lynn Brown and Malusi Gigaba grossly negligent.
We have recommended that they should also be called in the Zondo Commission for further investigation.— Zukiswa Rantho, Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee into State Capture
