Knysna couple cycles from Amsterdam to Cape Town

Husband and wife Colleen and Peter McNulty decided to live their dream and tackle the mammoth journey from Amsterdam to Cape Town on bicycles.

The journey has taken them 18 months and now they are just a few kilometres away.

The couple celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary while on the road in Zanzibar.

Colleen speaks to CapeTalk's Kieno Kammies about the journey and which countries they visited.

She says they visited 20 countries.

We travelled to countries like Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar where we celebrated our 20th anniversary and we went to Malawi, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namabia and Lesotho.
