Senior Programme Manager at the Wits Reproductive Health and HIV Institute, Dr Michelle Moorhouse spoke to #WeekendBreakfast host Africa Melane about World Aids Day, and how far we've come to combat the illness.
Dr. Moorhouse says that they've been tough targets to pursue in the quest to eliminate the HIV epidemic.
I've been working in HIV for quite a while and things have definity improved adds Dr. Moorhouse.
She says that it's much easier for patients but adds that they still have challenges.

Dr. Moorhouse says that in some countries, people living with HIV are actually living longer because they're interacting with the health system frequently.
