Vodacom shuts stores after being trashed and looted by EFF 'supporters'

Police are searching for suspects while Vodacom has shut some of its outlets after what seemed to be EFF supporters trashed a store at the Mall of the North in Limpopo.

The crowd assaulted women and stole goods, according to Vodacom.

A video of the chaos is doing the rounds on social media.

Corruption Watch Chairman Mavuso Msimang in an image called Julius Malema and Floyd Shivambu “abusers of democracy”, angering the EFF supporters.

Msimang was speaking at the Vodacom Journalism Awards.

The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Dr Iraj Abedian, CEO at Pan-African Investments and Research Services.

Abedian also briefly touched on the imploding Eskom.
