SA only nation capable of hosting Afcon 2019, says sports pundit
There's no other country except South Africa that can step in to host the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) tournament in 2019.
So says sports journalist Neal Collins.
The SA Football Association (Safa) has confirmed that it will make a bid to host Afcon next year, after Cameroon was stripped hosting rights because of security concerns and other delays.
Collins says there are a number of stadiums across the country that could be used to host the tournament finals.
He also commented on Banyana Banyana's recent performance and the controversy surrounding the 'twerk' request aimed at Women's Ballon d'Or winner Ada Hegerberg.
