The African National Congress Women's League (ANCWL) has called on the ANC to consider suspending its national spokesperson Pule Mabe, following allegations of sexual harassment. Mabe's personal assistant has accused him of pressuring her for sex in exchange for her job.
Callers on the Eusebius McKaiser Show weighed in on the matter with some callers calling the ANCWL inconsistent in their approach after having reacted differently to Mduduzi Manana's assault incident. Other callers commended the ANCWL on its stance.

In the case of Mabe, they are now saying that there needs to be a suspension and in the Manana saga where there was tangible evidence. The same women's league wanted internal processes to take place.— Lunga, a caller
Caller Denise disagrees with Lunga and says she wants to commend the league.
I think they have made a great step forward and I want to say congratulations ladies for speaking up.— Denise, caller
