Denel for many years appears to have struggled with the manufacturing side of the business, it became very clear that some global experience is a critical need for Denel. He is exceptionally experienced. What needs to happen now is the context under which we operate - to give the correct environment for us to absorb as much as we can from him so that the entire business can move on to the second layer of the frontier of manufacturing.— Monhla Hlahla, Denel Board Chairperson
It will give the market great confidence that e actually went out to look for specific experiences.... it is going to take the board, existing management and a culture change to make sure that we can make the best use of the input that we are going to get from him.— Monhla Hlahla, Denel Board Chairperson
