National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) spokesperson Craig Lambinon warns members of the public, close to coastal areas of the full moon spring tide that will take effect at 3 pm on Saturday 22 which will last till 26 December.
Lambinon says the alert will start on Friday and will continue into the Christmas weekend.
We are urging bathers, paddlers, and hikers along the shoreline to be aware that the high tide will be higher than normal and the low tide will be lower than normal.— Craig Lambinon, NSRI spokesperson
