[LISTEN] Former Miss SA Rolene Strauss releases spoken word album

Former Miss South Africa and Miss World 2014, Rolene Strauss has released a spoken word album, 'Secrets to My Growth', capturing her thoughts and personal stories.

Strauss says she has had a number of wonderful life experiences since being crowned nearly five years ago.

She speaks to Phemelo Motene about the inspiration behind her album.

I was sitting and thinking, wouldn't it be wonderful to go back a year or two in my own life and have a heart to heart talk with myself.

This is basically a few life lessons I would have wanted to tell my younger self, my children one day and lessons I have learned from my mentors.
