For many people the start of the new year comes with new commitments to change their way of doing things. Some commit to losing weight, others decide to quit smoking and a range of other behavioural changes.
Lifestyle coach Sean Collard says making decisions at the beginning of the year is a good idea as it is the start of a new cycle.
Resolution means to resolve, making decisions that I am finally going to do X.— Sean Collard, lifestyle coach
What is key, says Collard, is to know what drives you.
Do you actually know your why as a human being? Your why is the very reason you wake up every morning.— Sean Collard, lifestyle coach
What attitudes, behaviour and habits do you need to employ in order for you to achieve your why and your why is the very thing that drives you.— Sean Collard, lifestyle coach
Collard maintains that when there is a good enough reason to make a resolution, you will not give up easily - you will do what is required in order to achieve what is needed.
