"We get along just fine!" President on reports he will hold talks with Zuma

President Cyril Ramaphosa has laughed off media speculation he is due to confront Jacob Zuma over ' divisive' public comments he has made in recent weeks.

Ramaphosa was speaking at a wreath-laying ceremony at the gravesite of the party’s founding leader John Langalibalele Dube.

He jokingly said he'd been speaking to the former president and they've been laughing at these media reports.

He joked that he's requested a meeting to 'shout' at the former president.

He even went further to say, 'we get along just fine'.

It had been reported that Ramaphosa has been advised to engage Zuma on issues including state capture and his court case.

According to reports President Ramaphosa has been advised to have a 'frank discussion' with Zuma and to discuss his concerns about some remarks made by the former president that contradict ANC policy.
