[WATCH] Woman survives massive highway sign toppling and crushing her car

A woman in Australia narrowly escaped death after an overhead highway sign fell onto her car while she was driving.

The footage was caught on a dashcam by a man travelling behind her.

Her car roof was caved in but luckily she survived and was rushed to hospital with neck injuries.

Authorities are investigating what could have caused the sign to fall reports Australia's Nine News who obtained the footage. It reports that the government will foot the bill for the accident involving 53-year-old Nella Lettieri.
