Peppermint Crisp is here to stay

Twitter was abuzz on Friday with rumours that Nestlé is discontinuing that old South African favourite, Peppermint Crisp.

John spoke to senior brand manager at Nestlé Confectionery, Ayanda Mackay to get to the bottom of the story.

She reassures fans of the chocolate bar, that they are not going to be deprived of their favourite treat.

We are not discontinuing Peppermint Crisp. You can definitely still find it on the shelves.

There is one specific product though, that has been discontinued according to consumer demand.

We've done away with the bags and really that's the 130 gram bags, the really, really small ones.
